What does concrete cost in Hot Springs?
Standard driveways and broom-finish flatwork typically run $8.00–$13.50 per sq ft. Monolithic shop slabs run $8.00–$11.50 per sq ft, and custom stamped patios run $12.00–$18.00 per sq ft. We provide free on-site measurements and written quotes.
Why 4,000 PSI concrete?
It provides 33% higher compressive strength and denser surface resistance against freeze–thaw cycles and deicers. Our mix includes synthetic micro-fibers that help control plastic shrinkage and micro-cracking.
Do you use rebar or wire mesh?
We tie continuous ½-inch (#4 Grade 60) steel rebar grids on 18-inch centers, elevated on 2-inch chairs to center the steel in the slab. We do not rely on wire mesh, which often gets trampled into the dirt.
How thick should my slab be?
Standard residential driveways, patios, and light storage slabs are 4 inches thick. For heavy pickups, RV pads, dump trailers, or shops with lifts, we engineer 5- to 6-inch slabs with deep perimeter turn-down footings.
When can I drive on new concrete?
Walk on it in 24–48 hours. Passenger cars after 7 days (about 70% strength). Heavy motorhomes, loaded trucks, and heavy equipment should wait the full 28-day cure.
